var energy : float


The energy of the particle.

This is the time in seconds for how long this particle will remain alive. When the energy drops below zero the the Particle will be killed.

The energy is also used for UV animation:
If energy equals ParticleEmitter.maxEnergy the first tile will be used.
If energy equals 0 the last tile will be used.
